Your eSIM.me license can be upgraded at any time to unlock additional features and capabilities.
An upgrade allows you to continue using your existing eSIM.me card while increasing the number of eSIM profiles you can manage or expanding the number of devices that can manage the card.
This guide explains the available upgrade options and how to upgrade your license.
Available Licenses
The following licenses are available for upgrade:
- SINGLE 5
- MULTI 5
- MULTI 7
- MULTI 10
- OMNI 15
Every eSIM.me card starts with a basic license. As your needs grow, you can upgrade to a more powerful license that provides additional storage capacity or greater device flexibility.
Why Upgrade Your License?
There are two main reasons to upgrade your eSIM.me card.
Increase Your eSIM Storage Capacity
If you need to manage more eSIM profiles, you can upgrade within the same license family.
For example:
- SINGLE 2 → SINGLE 5
- MULTI 5 → MULTI 7
- MULTI 7 → MULTI 10
These upgrades increase the number of eSIM profiles that can be managed on your eSIM.me card.
Manage Your Card on More Devices
You can also upgrade to a more powerful license type.
For example:
- SINGLE 2 → MULTI 5
- SINGLE 2 → OMNI 15
- SINGLE 5 → MULTI 5
- SINGLE 5 → OMNI 15
- MULTI 5 → OMNI 15
- MULTI 7 → OMNI 15
- MULTI 10 → OMNI 15
These upgrades provide greater flexibility when using multiple devices.
- SINGLE licenses can be managed by one device.
- MULTI licenses can be managed by multiple devices of the same brand.
- OMNI licenses can be managed by multiple devices from different brands
OMNI Licenses
OMNI 15 is the highest available license.
Once your card has an OMNI license, no further upgrades are available.
How to Upgrade Your License
Step 1: Open the eSIM.me App
Open the eSIM.me App on the device currently managing your eSIM.me card.
Step 2: Open the Upgrade Menu
Tap the Menu icon and select Upgrade.
The app will display information about your current license and the upgrade options available for your card.
Step 3: Choose Your Upgrade
Review the available licenses and select the upgrade that best fits your needs.
Step 4: Complete Your Purchase
After selecting an upgrade, you will be redirected to the eSIM.me webshop.
Complete the purchase process to finalize your upgrade.
Step 5: Wait for the License Update
After completing your purchase:
1. Keep your phone connected to Wi-Fi.
2. Wait approximately 10 minutes.
3. Restart your device.
This allows the new license settings to be downloaded and applied to your eSIM.me card.
Step 6: Verify the Upgrade
After restarting your device:
1. Open the eSIM.me App.
2. Open the Menu.
3. Tap Card Info.
Your new license should now be displayed.
Important
Always start the upgrade process from the Upgrade option inside the eSIM.me App.
This ensures that your card information is automatically attached to the order and that the upgrade is applied to the correct eSIM.me card.
Purchasing directly from the webshop without starting from the app may delay the upgrade process or require manual verification.

Will I lose my installed eSIM profiles?
No. Upgrading your license does not affect your existing eSIM profiles.
Do I need a new eSIM.me card?
No. The upgrade is applied directly to your existing eSIM.me card.
Can I upgrade directly from SINGLE 2 to OMNI 15?
Yes. You can upgrade directly to any higher license without purchasing intermediate upgrades.
Can I upgrade an OMNI license?
No. OMNI 15 is the highest available license and cannot be upgraded further.
How long does the upgrade take?
Most upgrades are available shortly after purchase. We recommend waiting about 10 minutes and then restarting your device while connected to Wi-Fi.
What should I do if the new license is not displayed?
Make sure your device is connected to the internet, wait a few minutes, and restart your phone again. If the upgrade is still not visible, please contact eSIM.me Customer Service.
